Visit Indonesia for tourism, personal development, exploring unique attractions, cruise trips, attending meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions (MICE), participating in discussions, negotiations, signing business agreements, conducting site visits to offices, factories, production sites, investment locations, mining sites, and engaging in medical-related activities.
Visa Type
The C1 Visa is a single-entry visitor visa to Indonesia with an initial stay permit of up to 60 days starting from the date of arrival. This stay permit can be extended and is eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit in accordance with immigration regulations.
Length of Stay
- You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days from the arrival date.
- The stay permit can be extended multiple times up to a maximum of 180 days.
- Extensions can be processed online via the sponsor’s registered account at
evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
Sponsor
You do not need a sponsor to apply for this visa.
Exceptions:
- Stateless individuals
- Holders of non-national passport travel documents
- Citizens of certain countries as determined by immigration authorities
Visa Application
Applicants (or sponsors, where applicable) must create an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id and submit required documents electronically.
- A valid travel document with at least 6 months validity.
(For non-national passport documents, validity must be at least 12 months.) - Proof of living expenses in Indonesia: bank statement (last 3 months)
showing a minimum balance of USD 2,000 or equivalent. - Recent color photograph (according to official specifications).

Other Provisions
- Holders of temporary or emergency travel documents must attach a re-entry permit
and a return/onward ticket. - The visa is valid for 90 days from issuance. If unused within that period,
a new visa application is required. - Visa validity period differs from length of stay. Always check the visa details.
- C1 visa holders are not permitted to sell goods/services or receive salary,
wages, or compensation from individuals or corporations in Indonesia. - Foreigners holding this stay permit are prohibited from acting as event speakers.
