With a C8B visa, you can
Participate as an official in non-commercial sports activities, such as sports activities at the invitation of the Indonesian government, international sports championships, or sports activities organized by international sports organizations. You may also visit tourist spots and see friends and family.
Visa type
The C8B Visa is a single-entry visitor visa to Indonesia with a first stay permit of up to 60 days starting from the arrival date.
This stay permit is extendable and eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit with the same sponsor.
Length of stay
- You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days from arrival.
- You can extend the stay permit several times up to 180 days.
- Your sponsor can extend the stay permit online through
evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

You need a sponsor to apply for this visa.
Visa application
Sponsors must create an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying.
After logging in, the sponsor submits electronic files such as:
- Application letter and sponsor’s statement letter
- Passport valid for at least 6 months
- Proof of living expenses (bank statement for last 3 months, minimum USD 2000 or equivalent)
- Recent color photograph
Specific requirements
- Invitation and sponsorship letter from the event organizer
Other provisions
- Holders of temporary or special travel documents must attach a Re-Entry Permit
and return/onward ticket. - The visa is valid for 90 days from issuance. If unused, a new visa is required.
- Visa validity differs from period of stay — check your visa carefully.
- C8B visa holders may receive compensation or facilities for their activities in Indonesia.
