With a C8A visa, you can
Participate in non-commercial sports activities, such as events by invitation from the Indonesian government, international sports championships, or activities organized by international sports organizations. You may also visit tourist attractions and see friends and family.
Visa type
The C8A Visa is a single-entry visitor visa to Indonesia with an initial stay permit of up to 60 days from the arrival date. This stay permit is extendable and eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit with the same sponsor.
Length of stay
- You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days from the arrival date.
- You may extend this stay permit several times up to a maximum of 180 days.
- Extensions must be processed by the sponsor via
evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
Sponsor
A sponsor is required to apply for this visa.
Visa application
Sponsors must create an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying. Required documents include:
- Application letter and sponsor’s statement letter
- Valid travel document (minimum 6 months before expiry)
- Proof of living expenses (bank statement for the last 3 months
with at least USD 2000 or equivalent) - Recent color photograph

Other provisions
- Holders of non-national travel documents must attach a Re-Entry Permit
and a return/onward ticket. - The visa is valid for 90 days from issuance. If unused, a new visa must be applied for.
- Visa validity differs from the period of stay. Always verify your visa details.
- Visa holders may receive compensation or facilities for their activities
from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
Visa application and granting process
At the Directorate General of Immigration, officers will:
- Check documents
- Verify immigration fee payment
- Create and verify the applicant profile
- Approve the application
- Issue the visa
Processing time: 5 working days after payment is received.
