C17 Company Audit, Quality Control, and Inspection Visitor Visa

With a C17 visa, you can

Conduct audits, production quality control, or inspections at company branches in Indonesia.With this visa, you may also visit tourist attractions and see friends and family.

Visa type

The C17 Visa is a single-entry visitor visa to Indonesia with an initial stay permit of up to 60 days from the date of arrival. This stay permit can be extended and may be converted into a temporary stay permit with the same sponsor.

Length of stay

  • You may stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days from the arrival date.
  • The stay permit can be extended multiple times up to a maximum of 180 days.

Visa application

Sponsors must first create an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id

After logging in, the sponsor can apply for a C17 visa by submitting
the following electronic documents:

  • Application letter and sponsor’s statement letter
  • Valid travel document with at least 6 months remaining validity
  • Proof of living expenses (bank statement for the last 3 months with
    a minimum balance of USD 2,000 or equivalent)
  • Recent color photograph

Specific requirements

  • Invitation letter from a government agency or private institution
    acting as the host of the program or activity.

Other provisions

  • Foreigners holding non-national travel documents (temporary passport,
    emergency passport, titre du voyage, certificate of identity,
    laissez-passer, etc.) must attach a Re-Entry Permit and a return
    or onward ticket.
  • The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If unused
    within that period, a new visa application is required.
  • Visa validity differs from the permitted length of stay. Please
    check your visa carefully.
  • Holders of a C17 stay permit are not permitted to sell goods or
    services or receive salary, wages, or compensation from individuals
    or companies in Indonesia.

Visa application and granting process

At the Directorate General of Immigration, officers will:

  • Review your submitted documents
  • Verify payment of immigration fees
  • Create and verify your profile in the system
  • Approve your application
  • Issue your visa

Processing time is five working days after visa payment is received.
