C10A Religious Speaker Visitor Visa

With a C10A visa, you can

Carry out activities such as giving sermons/preaching or attending seminars on religious subjects. With this visa, you also can visit tourist spots and see friends and family.

Visa type

The C10A Visa is a visitor visa for single entry to Indonesia with a first stay permit of up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date. This stay permit is extendable and eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit with the same sponsor.

Length of stay

You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date.
You can extend this stay permit several times up to 180 days.
Your sponsor can extend your stay permit online through the sponsor’s registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id

Visa application

Sponsors must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for foreigners. After having an account, the sponsor can apply for a C10A visa for foreigners after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by submitting electronic files (file format details) of foreigners, such as:

Application letter and sponsor’s statement letter,
A travel document that is still valid for at least 6 months before it expires,
Proof of living expenses in Indonesia in the form of a bank statement in the foreigner’s or sponsor’s name for the last 3 months of at least USD 2000 or an equivalent amount in other currencies,
Recent color photograph. Details

Specific requirements

Invitation letter from the event organizer describing the details of the agenda and sermon/seminar material to be delivered.

Other provisions

Foreigners without citizenship or foreigners holding travel documents (not national passports) in the form of temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez passer, or other equivalent documents must attach a Re-Entry Permit document to the country where the visa is applied from and a return ticket/onward ticket to another country.
The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, foreigners must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.

Foreigners with a stay permit from a C10A visa are allowed to receive compensation or wages from individuals or corporations in Indonesia. However, they are not permitted to engage in employment with individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

Visa application and granting process

1. Application at the Indonesian Representative Office

When applying at the Indonesian Representative Office, the officer will:

Check your documents;
Fill in your data, scan files, and print a receipt for your application;
Verify your immigration fee payment;
Create your profile in the system and verify;
Approve your application;
Personalize, print, and sign your visa;
Issue and deliver your visa.

Processing time is five working days after visa payment is received.

2. Application at the Directorate General of Immigration

When applying at the Directorate General of Immigration, the officer will:

Check your documents;
Verify your immigration fee payment;
Create your profile in the system and verify;
Approve your application;
Issue your visa.
